چکیده
Abstract In this study, a novel adsorbent (SRM-ZnO) was prepared using zinc oxide supported on red mud in seawater medium and used for the adsorption of methyl orange (MO). It is expected to solve recycling prepare an economical with high efficiency adsorb dye wastewater. Material composition morphology analyses showed that hydrotalcite compounds were attached surface SRM-ZnO. The can increase area modified thus capacity MO. MO conforms Temkin isotherm model pseudo-second-order kinetic model. behavior mainly includes physical interaction, supplemented chemical interactions. Result also found SRM-ZnO spontaneous exothermic process.
